Only the best Marechal Foch grapes grown in Nova Scotia were chosen by Jost Vineyards to produce our premier Port style red wine. It has a rich, full bodied, fruit character which lingers on the palate. Jost Vineyards Port is the perfect accompaniment to good friends and good food. It is ready for drinking now but will age gracefully for many years to come.
2006 Muscat Icewine (10%alc./vol. 200 ml)

Jost Vineyard’s Muscat IceWine was made from Nova Scotia Grown New York Muscat grapes that had frozen on the vine. Harvested and pressed in December while temperatures hovered between -8C to -14C, only a few sweet drops of juice from each berry (high in sugar, flavour and balance giving acidity) were extracted and then carefully vinted under cool conditions. The unique dessert wine that emerged has complex flavours and fragrances full of apricot and citrus just waiting to be enjoyed.

The grapes used to produce this Double Gold Medal winning Vidal Icewine were grown in the Warner Vineyard in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. During the coldest mornings of December (temperatures between -8 C and -14 C) the frozen grapes were harvested and pressed. The pressing yielded a golden nectar which was high in sugar, flavour and balance giving acidity. A cool, slow fermentation resulted in a very complex, full bodied dessert wine.

Only a few sweet drops of juice from each berry were extracted and then carefully vinted under cool conditions. This premier vintage dessert wine is full of spicy tangerine, apricot, and melon fruit waiting to be savoured.

The Jost Vineyards Framboise is a dessert style wine made from raspberries of Nova Scotia. Harvested at peak ripeness the raspberries were warm fermented as whole berries so as to extract the maximum colour and flavour possible. The result is a bright, well balanced dessert wine exhibiting intense raspberry fruit on both the nose and palate. Jost Vineyards Framboise was awarded Quality Certification by the national fruit wine certifying body (Fruit Wines of Canada). It is a delicious treat in itself that will also compliment any dessert.

Prost, the common version of Prosit, the German word for "cheers" or "to your health", is the name for our new Sparkling Wine! Specially made with the signature grape of Nova Scotia, the L'Acadie Blanc, this fruity and fun wine will tease your taste buds. A great aperitif, this wine is perfect for any and all celebrations. We recommend using a towel for added grip in assisting in the removal of the cork.
2008 Whisky Ortega Icewine 200ml
Aged in Single Malt Whisky barrels from the Award-Winning Nova Scotia single malt whisky producer, Glenora Distillery of Cape Breton. The Ortega Icewine grapes were harvested at Warner Vineyards of the Annapolis Valley. This is a surprising but delicious treat!

Distilled in Nova Scotia using an artisanal still (only 1308 bottles were produced), this award winning Eau de Vie was created from the pomace of fresh muscat grapes. Harmonious and balanced with a light floral nose, this unique spirit can be enjoyed as a digestif or on its own.
